MEET ARCHIE! Archie is a 4-year-old, 17 pound Chihuahua mix with a big personality wrapped in a little body. He's energetic, affectionate, and full of love — once he trusts you. Like many small dogs, Archie is a bit wary of strangers and needs time to warm up, but when he does, he bonds deeply and becomes an incredibly loyal companion. He's house trained, kennel trained, walks well on leash, and loves his daily outings. Archie would do best in a home without cats or children and thrives in a calm, predictable environment. He lives with small and big dogs and gets along with both. He just needs a proper introduction period when meeting new dogs. Archie is not a fan of car rides and is happiest just hanging out at home with his person. He's the perfect match for a quiet household with one or two adults who understand and respect his need for space when new people visit. He may need to be kenneled during guest visits, and he's okay with that!
