About Mac
Mac is a handsome 3.5-year-old, 40-pound neutered hound mix who adores people and enjoys the company of other dogs. Originally from Caddo Parish Shelter in Louisiana, he has been thriving in foster care in the Pacific Northwest since October 2024. Mac is a sensitive and affectionate dog who loves to snuggle and get ear scratches, and he enjoys playing fetch. He can be vocal in loud or high-pressure situations and does best with a calm, even-keeled adopter who understands canine body language; with training support from To the Point Dog Training, Mac has made significant strides in confidence and behavior.
