Meet Yoda — a 2-year-old, 16-pound Terrier/Shih Tzu mix with the cutest wild-child ears, a mischievous sparkle, and a heart just waiting for the right person to love. This adorable little guy was found as a stray and is now safe in foster care, but what he truly needs is a patient forever home where he can finally feel secure and loved. Yoda is a sweet, sensitive boy who needs time to trust. He may not be the dog who runs into your arms on day one, but please don't let that fool you. Beneath that shy exterior is an incredibly loyal, affectionate little soul who bonds deeply once he feels safe. He is the perfect example of the 3-3-3 rule (if you don't know what that is, please google it!) — he needs patience, consistency, and understanding as he adjusts to a new home. In his foster home, he quickly attached to one person, while it took a little longer for him to trust others. And when he finally did, it was such a beautiful reminder that love and patience truly pay off. Once Yoda knows you're his person, he will reward you with so much devotion and love. And this little guy LOVES adventure: long walks, fetch, hikes, shopping trips, patio dining, zoomies in the yard. He would love a friendly dog buddy and a secure fenced yard where he can play, learn, and soak up the sunshine. Yoda would prefer a "cat-less" home. Yoda is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines — fully ready for his forever family. ✨He just needs someone willing to give him time to adjust and he will reward you with lots of love!
