Hi, new friend! Lulu here.
I won't fib — I've got a little grey on my muzzle. But being older just means I'm past the wild puppy stuff and all about cozy company and slow, happy mornings.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that worry you — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Lulu 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Lulu
I'm Lulu, a 10‑year‑old Boston Terrier auntie weighing a dainty 15 pounds, with a big personality and an even bigger sense of how the day should go. I like to wake up at 7 AM on the dot, enjoy my dinner at 5 PM sharp, and settle myself right in the middle of the dining room floor under the fan, usually while wearing my favorite little sweater. I may be mostly blind and mostly deaf, but I move through life with calm confidence and a touch of quirky flair. I used to keep my distance, but lately I've been warming up in the sweetest way. I've started coming over to ask for scratches and soft affection, and I'm discovering that gentle love is actually pretty wonderful. I'm housetrained as long as there's enough light for me to see, and I do expect an escort to the door—proper etiquette for a senior lady. I adore sunbathing and exploring the yard slowly and thoughtfully. I'm peaceful, steady, and full of quiet charm, the kind of little auntie who brings a soft, cozy rhythm to the home. I don't do stairs or pools, and I'm perfectly happy in an apartment where life moves at a gentle pace. I'm also wonderfully trustworthy when left home alone—I'll nap, supervise the sunshine, and wait for my next scheduled event. Big crowds aren't my thing, but I get along beautifully with very gentle dogs, especially other seniors who appreciate the fine art of calm companionship. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (+65), my adoption fee is waived. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas . This will allow you to possibly become a foster home for one of our little Boston Terriers in need. Thank you for considering the possibility of fostering for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas!
