With deep brown eyes that seem to understand you instantly, this Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix has a quiet magic about him. Despite a heartbreaking start to life (including time spent locked in a dark backyard storage unit), Melo is learning to trust, love, and play again. Now fully vetted and thriving in his foster home, Melo adores romping with his petite canine friend and has discovered the joy of companionship. He weighs a solid 75 pounds and carries it with grace. Once he knows you, he'll nuzzle in close—gentle, polite, and house-trained. He walks well on leash, rides calmly in the car, and brings a quiet dignity to every moment. Melo is a reminder that healing is possible, and love transforms. You truly have to meet him to understand how extraordinary he is—inside and out.
