EXPERIENCED ADOPTER. FENCED YARD 6' MINIMUM. Lucy is a beautiful mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Boxer, Chow Chow and Llewellin Setter with a heart full of love and energy to share! Lucy is always ready for an adventure, whether it's a car ride, long walk or a romp in the yard. She has the perfect mix of intelligence, affection, and energy making her a joy to be around. Lucy is selective of other dogs, but gets along beautifully if properly introduced. She plays extremely well with her foster-mate Nuka. Her affectionate nature makes her the perfect candidate for snuggling. Lucy loves soaking in all the affection she can get. Lucy is looking for a forever family who will embrace her active lifestyle and give her plenty of belly rubs. She loves to play "keep away" and can be a flight risk. It is her very nature to make most things a game that she can enjoy. If you're searching for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, Lucy is ready to fill your home with joy and excitement! Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Locust Grove, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances. To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Street Paws. Dog adoption fees range from $250 to $400. Each dog receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery Heartworm testing and treatment, if necessary Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
