About Murphy
Murphy is a 2-year-old, 40-pound Labrador Retriever and Bull Terrier mix with a playful, goofy personality who loves people and making new friends. He can get mouthy when excited, so he does best with older, considerate children, and he needs a secure 6-foot fence due to his jumping ability. Murphy walks nicely on leash, knows basic commands, and is generally dog-friendly with proper introductions, though he may not do well with small fluffy dogs; he plays best with dogs his size or larger and benefits from a handler who can help him settle when overstimulated. He is an active boy who needs daily exercise through walks, playtime, or other activity to be his best self, after which he enjoys calm downtime on his bed.
