I'm one year old with the soul of a retiree and the grace of someone twice my size—mostly because I trip over my own feet, which I find rather amusing.
They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.

Meet Jax! Jax is an one year old super mutt with a small-to-medium build and the calm, gentle energy of a much older dog — with a goofy streak that makes him absolutely irresistible. He may have "the grace of a Great Dane," but that just adds to his charm. Jax's ideal day includes napping in a cozy spot, exploring the yard, stretching out in the grass, and happily chewing on his favorite toys. He's an easygoing pup who loves simple pleasures and brings a peaceful presence to any home. He gets along wonderfully with his sister and his foster dog siblings, and he's already got his basic training down. While he's a champ at home life, he can be sensitive to loud noises, so a patient family that can offer reassurance during those moments would be perfect for him. Jax is gentle, sweet, and quietly funny — the kind of dog who becomes your steady companion without ever demanding too much. If you're looking for a laid-back buddy with a big heart, Jax might be the one! Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Locust Grove, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances. To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Street Paws. Dog adoption fees range from $250 to $400. Each dog receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery Heartworm testing and treatment, if necessary Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
