Breed

Hey, friend! Tucker here.

I'm a patient soul who moves slow and steady, and I've learned that the best things—trust, treats, peace—are worth the wait in a quiet home built just for two.

Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Spring.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Tucker

About Tucker

Tucker is a quiet boy in a loud world—and that's exactly why he deserves someone special. He's strikingly handsome with a face you'll remember—and a cautious soul who needs someone willing to let him set the pace and celebrate the tiny wins. Tucker is wary of new people, yet he has never shown aggression—his comfort zone just starts out farther away than most. Born around February 2019, Tucker doesn't lean on other dogs for confidence, so he'd be happiest as your one-and-only in a calm home without kids—think peaceful routines, soft voices, and a human who understands that is a marathon, not a sprint. The cool part? He's easy to handle on leash, and once you've unlocked the secret code (translation: the extra-yummy treats), he'll eventually take them gently from your hand. He may never turn into a big cuddler, but he's a sweet boy who deserves a forever home that sees value in small moments—a soft glance, a closer step, a treat accepted, a leash walk that feels a little less scary. If you're patient and steady and you love the idea of being a sweet boy's safe place, Tucker is ready to meet you exactly as he is—quirks included, heart intact, and hoping you're his forever. ** Tune in to our Facebook page (Great Pyrenees Rescue Society - GPRS) every Sunday at 3pm CT to see our dogs LIVE!
