I'm nine years of good behavior looking for someone to finally believe in it, and yes, I know sit, shake, and door manners—I'm basically a furry resume at this point.
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
I'm a seasoned soul, which is a fancy way of saying I've perfected the art of the afternoon nap and the grateful sigh.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I'm a San Diego local, just waiting on the right person.

DOB: April 2015Weight: 70 poundsRescue: Forest was originally rescued from a kill shelter in California City Temperament: Sweet, , polite, well-behaved,. Forest is housebroken, and knows basic commands such as sit, shake, and down. She even knows to sit politely at a door before heading outside. Forest is a great girl who is great with other dogs, and would love a family to call her own!It is always especially sad when a dog gets returned back to TBL and they have been in their home for years. That is what happened to Forest. Add to that she is now a senior and a large pittie mix and her adoption applications are not rolling in.Forest has made friends with all of the volunteers and she is in a great play group but for a dog that has lived in a home for most of the last nine years, that is still a tough transition. She was originally adopted as the cutest puppy in October of 2015, came back in 2018 and was adopted again and now, after 6 years in that home is back on the market. Forest knows her commands and is housebroken. She is friendly and energetic. She doesn’t consider herself a senior and minus some frosting on her face, you would never know it by how she moves.Forest should be able to easily transition into a new household. She is very intelligent. She learned the routine at TBL very quickly and listens well. She takes treats gently and loves to run around the yard.
