Couldn't sleep either? Hi. Oreo here.

I'm a smart, loving Corgi who just needs the right active home—one where I can hike, play with a dog buddy my size, and get the steady routine and attention my heart really craves.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Denver.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Oreo

About Oreo

Oreo is an almost 2-year-old Corgi weighing 35 pounds who was surrendered due to his previous owner having too many dogs. He is an intelligent, affectionate boy who thrives with an active, experienced herding-breed owner and needs a home with a securely fenced yard, daily walks, mental stimulation, and ideally weekend hikes or sport activities. Oreo does best with another playful dog close to his size, as he is fearful of larger dogs and can become easily overstimulated; he is not recommended for homes with cats due to his herding drive. He is working through indoor marking, particularly when stressed, and will need frequent outdoor access, continued supervision, and a belly band at night; he tolerates kennels only briefly and does best in a home where someone is present during the day. Oreo can be nervous and mouthy when first meeting new people, especially with fast movements or hands reaching over him, so he requires homes with children 12 and older or no children. His fluffy coat needs regular grooming, and he is prone to weight gain without appropriate daily exercise. He is not suited for apartment living and would benefit from a basic obedience or manners class to build confidence and bond with his person. Once comfortable, he is very affectionate and cuddly. Oreo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
