Breed

Hey, friend! Oceania here.

Husky here: gorgeous, theatrical, built for adventure (and the world-class nap after).

Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.

I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.

I'm a Oakland local, just waiting on the right person.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.

Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Oceania

About Oceania

Oceania – Playful, Independent and Affectionate Oceania is a young Siberian Husky mix under 2 years old and weighing 63 pounds. This fun-loving girl has a curious mind, a playful spirit, and an occasional independent streak. Leash Manners: Oceania is working on her leash skills and may pull enthusiastically at the beginning of an outing. With continued practice, she'll be ready for plenty of adventures. Smart & Focused: Oceania knows "sit," "down," and "paw," and shows wonderful focus when working on her cues. She loves treat-finding games and nose work, especially sniffing out goodies in the grass. Playful: Toss her a toy and Oceania is ready to chase! She also enjoys entertaining herself and can zoom and frolic joyfully from one end of the yard to the other. Independent Spirit: Oceania is happy to accept pets and affection before heading off to explore again. She has also enjoyed time in doggie playgroup. Oceania will do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with well-matched canine friends.
