Afternoon, friend! Ash here.

I've got short legs, a big heart, and absolutely zero chill about loving you—plus my sister Aspen comes with the package deal.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I've been holding down the fort in New York, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Ash

About Ash

Meet Ash: A Little Dog with a Big Heart! Ash has an endless supply of love to give! This adorable 1-2-year-old rescue has short, little legs which makes us think she is possibly a Basset Hound mix. She's the perfect knee-high companion for snuggles and adventures alike. Ash is a happy, sweet, and affectionate pup who loves everyone she meets. She's loves other dogs and would fit beautifully into any loving home. Ash is bonded with Aspen (AL), another adorable Basset Hound and they need to be adopted together. Ready to welcome these charming, lovable pups into your life? Apply today at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org to give Ash and Aspen the forever home they deserve! Please also be sure to reference pet's name as Ash (AL) in case of duplicate names within the rescue. Thank you! All pets are current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter. Ash's adoption fee is $550.
