MEET KAYA! Kaya is a 2-year-old Husky mix who's just beginning to discover how good life can be. After spending her early years isolated in a backyard with minimal interaction, she's blossomed into a playful, curious, and affectionate companion who's ready for adventure. Kaya loves walks and is always up for tagging along on a hike or outing. She's goofy and full of personality — the kind of dog who will make you smile every day. While she's still learning how to interact with other dogs, she may do well with a calm, well-socialized dog of similar size. However, she should not live with cats. She's house trained, spayed, and knows some basic commands. Kaya is still gaining confidence with new people and situations, so she'll do best in a home that offers structure, patience, and plenty of positive reinforcement.
