About Poppi
Poppi is a Siberian Husky who is learning to feel safe and trust again after a difficult past. She is house trained and food motivated, though still building confidence with handling and new experiences. Poppi can be guarded around other dogs, particularly larger ones, and does best as the only dog or with careful introductions in a calm home. Poppi is a sensitive, reserved girl who is beginning to relax and seek affection, enjoying gentle face strokes and cuddles, especially at bedtime. She is currently on medication for seizures, which are managed though occasional recurrences do happen. With patience and kindness, Poppi is slowly showing her true husky spirit and growing braver each day.
