Maxwell is a senior male Rottweiler with a gentle, calm, and affectionate nature who loves people and enjoys companionship. He is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic obedience commands; he walks well on leash using a training collar and is responsive to his handler. Maxwell has a high prey drive and will need a home without small animals, and his compatibility with other dogs is still being evaluated, so any introductions would need to be slow and thoughtful. This smart, quick-bonding boy thrives in a calm, structured environment and has much love to give to his next family.
