About Luna in KY
Luna is a six-year-old English cream dachshund weighing eleven pounds who came from a breeder and experienced intervertebral disc disease. After being deemed not a candidate for surgery, she received physical therapy and acupuncture and has learned to spine walk, allowing her to navigate ramps and get around with determination. Luna is house-trained on a strict schedule or with a diaper, crate-trained, and gets along with male and female dogs, though she is not suitable for homes with cats or young children. She requires a fenced yard, an adopter with IVDD experience and bladder expression knowledge, someone home frequently, and ideally another small young dog as a companion.
