Hey, friend! Evee here.
Shepherd brains over here: I learn fast, notice everything, and would love a person with a plan.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.
I've been holding down the fort in Lake Forest, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Evee

About Evee
Evee is a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd Dog weighing 20 pounds who has overcome significant hardship in her short life. Found alone on the streets with a thorn lodged in her eye, she was rescued and brought to PuppyPromise Rescue for medical care. She has since undergone ectropion surgery for an eye deformity and carries enamel hypoplasia from surviving parvovirus during tooth development, which has resulted in missing teeth. Despite her challenges, Evee is gentle, loving, and trusting; a blood panel is recommended before any future procedures to check for anemia or platelet issues related to her previous ehrlichia treatment.
