Hi there! Winston here.
Shepherd brains over here: I learn fast, notice everything, and would love a person with a plan.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Lake Forest.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Winston

About Winston
Winston is a Shepherd who was rescued from severe abuse and neglect, including being chained with a severely short chain and denied shelter, sanitation, and food and water. He would thrive in a patient, kind home with someone experienced in working with rescued and abused dogs who can positively redirect his behaviors. Despite his difficult past, Winston is a gentle and loving dog who responds well to kindness and is eager for a permanent family.
