The rescue’s notes on TANK the man
This stout short & stocky guy reminds me of a heavy and strong TANK so that is what I named him. He is 35 pounds and a medium-small dog that is 5 years old and just built sturdy and solid. He has a bit of Shih Tzu in him with that Terrier. Now his personality is just the opposite, he is sooooo well-mannered with a curious behavior. He follows me around like a student waiting for me to guide him and teach him what to do. TANK is mellow, very quiet and just goes with the flow. He never bothers the other foster dogs and they do not bother him. He is crate and potty trained, walks well on a leash and jumps right in the car ready to go wherever. This guy would be a great first dog or a dog for someone who is not that active because the daily maintenance on him is very low. He does enjoy a leisurely walk though because he likes to sightsee. We know he is some type of terrier mix but not sure what kind and he will probably need to be groomed every 3-4 months to keep his pretty golden coat looking good.
