Breed
Hi, new friend! Benji here.
I'm a little bit of everything, which means I'm a little bit perfect for someone.
They say I'm clever. I say I'm just waiting for someone worth showing off for.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Ashville.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Benji

About Benji
Hi there Benji here! Benji was surrendered to DASH by his previous owner. He is currently working on trusting humans and other dogs. He is a "guy's guy" and prefers both male dogs and men. Since he has these things he is currently working on he will need a patient adopter to continue to work with him. Once he feels comfortable with people he is very loving. Benji is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is currently in the DASH Prison program where he is learnig basic commands. In his previous home Benji was fine with cats but did not do well with children. If you are willing to be the one who continues to work on making him the best dog he can be then apply today. (FTA: Benji is a part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. If you are interested in bringing him home to test how he would acclimate to your environment, apply today!)
