Hi there! Honey here.
I'm a resilient Boxer who'd rather be by your side on every adventure—loyal, athletic, and ready to show you exactly why I'm worth the commitment.
They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I've been holding down the fort in Bandera, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Honey

About Honey
Honey is a 3-year-old Boxer mix who survived a flood in Kerrville and is now thriving in foster care. She is a loving, people-oriented dog who bonds deeply and is good on a leash; she weighs about 40 pounds and is taller but medium-weight, with lower shedding. Honey is energetic and good with dogs her size, and she would do best as the only dog in an active, outdoorsy home without cats. She is currently recovering from injuries sustained during the flood, has a follow-up veterinary appointment scheduled, and will be spayed soon.
