Hi there! Slinky here.
Built like a hot dog and fully prepared to burrow under your blanket and stay there.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Chandler.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Slinky

About Slinky
Slinky, a Dachshund, is a shy boy who has experienced trauma and neglect in his past. He needs time to build trust with new people, but once he does, his sweet personality emerges—he loves zoomies, belly rubs, and curling up at his person's feet or in their lap. Slinky has good house manners and does not need to be kenneled; his ideal home is one where he can move freely throughout the house and relax comfortably. He enjoys walks and playtime but is equally content spending quiet evenings with his companion. Slinky would thrive best in a calm home without young children, where a patient and understanding family can help him continue building confidence at his own pace.
