The rescue’s notes on Ace

Everybody needs an extra Ace up their sleeve. Here is a guy that will have your back. He is a little over a year old and a Pitbull/Chow Chow X. Ace is a very fun loving, full of spunk and energy type of guy. He loves very hard and will shower you with kisses, have the most wiggly butt wags and will defend your honor to the max. Ace had a murky background before he came into our program. He lived in an unstable environment with constant chaos. Ace was very cautious with new people upon intake. Once he warmed up over the course of a few days only then did we see his true personality shine through. Once you've passed the test, you might just be his best friend ever. Ace gets along great with other dogs and he does not mind cats. Ace absolutely loves, running outside with friends going on walks, dipping his feet in the lake and attempting any possible adventure he can tagalong on. If you are looking for a buddy to run alongside you, go on hikes, maybe even paddle board, and ride along in the car, Ace is your guy. Ace would do fine in a home with a confident cat, a housemate dog and kids that are older and considerate. He enjoys his regular family kids but can become overwhelmed by too many young and crazy kids. He still needs a little bit of work with his socialization when it comes to strangers, but he is making great strides.
