The rescue’s notes on DAKOTA

MEET DAKOTA!!! Dakota is a sweet and loving girl who is eager to give lots of kisses. Dakota always has a smile on her face, with a wagging tail. When she's not being affectionate, Dakota loves a good lay on the couch or her dog bed. She loves to go on walks and is great in the car, often laying down in the back. Dakota loves to coddle stuffies or a good ball. She does get along with other dogs, BUT has resource guarding issues with other females that she's still working on, so she will either need an adopter willing to continue to work with (and/or have workarounds to) or should be the only dog in the home. A male dog may be better with her than another female. She has not yet been around cats. She does well with children of all sized, but be mindful she gives lots of kisses! She is working on not digging in the yard and her excitement at mealtime. Dakota is overall a great dog and would love to meet you!
