Psst… night owl. Hi. Wendy here.
I've learned that a good life requires the right companion—fortunately, I come with mine—and that patience, sunlight, and a warm lap solve most problems.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I've been holding down the fort in Humble, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Wendy

About Wendy
Wendy is a beautiful red longhair dachshund who arrived at the rescue with her deeply bonded companion, Peter Pan—the two must be adopted together. She is a timid and docile girl with a gentle heart who loves attention, cuddles, and being held. Wendy is leash trained, crate trained, and baby gate trained, and she enjoys walks and sunbathing outdoors. She experiences separation anxiety when apart from Peter Pan, tends to follow his lead on potty habits, and is still working on consistency in this area, but she continues to make progress.
