Good evening! Lexxi here.
Long royalty, reporting for cuddles — stairs are my nemesis, laps are my throne.
My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.
I'm a Arlington local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Lexxi

About Lexxi
Lexxi is a 1.5-year-old, 15-pound Dachshund-Corgi mix with a black-and-tricolor coat. This gentle, quiet girl was rescued from the streets of Fresno, California, and is now learning to trust and come out of her shell in a calm environment. Lexxi is a devoted couch companion who thrives on peaceful companionship and needs a quiet, adult home without children. Because of her past trauma and anxiety, she requires a patient adopter willing to reintroduce her to leash-walking slowly and gently, and she does best when living with another friendly, gentle dog as a mentor—ideally her mother, Libby, who was rescued alongside her. Lexxi naturally trusts women more easily and will warm up to men through feeding routines, hand-fed treats, and a soft voice.
