About Glynnis
Glynnis is a sweet and gentle terrier mix, approximately 8 years old and 41 pounds, who came to the shelter from animal control and completed an immersive training program where she learned sit, stay, down, come, drop it, leave it, and place commands. She is affectionate and cuddly, enjoying cuddles, scratches, walks, car rides, and playtime with people; she is vocal during play and does best as an only dog in a house (not an apartment) rather than in close quarters with many other dogs. Glynnis has met children ages 6 and up with positive results and should do well in a home with kids 10 and up, but she chased a cat in a foster home so is not suitable for homes with cats. She is current on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, has had a recent dental cleaning, and is on an inexpensive anxiety medication to help with shelter stress that she may be able to discontinue once settled in a permanent home.
