About Pocco
Pocco is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. We do offer foster-to-adopt trials for approved adopters. Pocco is a happy sweetheart looking for a new home! He's friendly, affectionate, and full of personality. This boy adores people, is good with children, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Pocco does not like cats so a feline-free home would be best! Pocco is a smart boy who has mastered commands like sit, paw, and kennel, and he's working hard on off and leave it. He's house and crate-trained, walks well on a leash, and does great overnight. When Pocco meets new people, he may initially become excited and exuberant, but he is able to quickly settle down and relax. He gives the best hugs, enjoys basking in the sun, and would love a chew toy collection in his new home! Pocco is fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. He tested negative for heart worm. His adoption donation is $500. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
