Well, hello! Luke 2021 here.
I still can't believe someone's taking me home again—I've got training, manners, a whole heart full of love, and I promise to be the most devoted buddy you've ever seen!
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
I'm a seasoned soul, which is a fancy way of saying I've perfected the art of the afternoon nap and the grateful sigh.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Gilbert.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Luke 2021

About Luke 2021
This handsome purebred Rottweiler is approximately 6 years old and is looking for a new forever home through no fault of his own. He was adopted from our rescue in 2021 but was recently returned after his owner experienced serious health issues and could no longer care for him.He has had formal training and knows a variety of commands in both English and German. He is crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash with a training collar. He is affectionate, loyal, and wonderful with people, including children. He adored the young child in his previous home and enjoyed spending time with all of her friends. He has also lived successfully with a cat for the past three years, and the two became great companions. With other dogs, he does best with compatible canine friends. While he gets along well with some dogs, he can be reactive toward dogs that challenge him, so thoughtful introductions and proper management are important. If you're looking for a well-trained, loving, and devoted companion, this sweet boy has so much to offer the right family.Adoption Process:If you are interested in adopting one of our fun-loving, "not-so-rotten" Rotties, you will be asked to fill out our adoption application which allows us to get to know you better. This ensures the dog you are interested in is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our Adoption Application by visiting our website at www.rottenrottie.com (http://www.rottenrottie.com/), clicking on Adopt a Rottweiler -> Adoption Application, and submitting the form online. After reviewing your answers, if we feel the dog you are interested in is not a match for your family, we may recommend a different Rottweiler companion. Once we determine which dog is best for you, we will schedule a meeting at their current home, where they feel most comfortable and act naturally. We require a home check to ensure each dog is going to a safe environment. To finalize the process, an adoption contract must be signed. We also require a rehoming fee, which is typically $500 for most adults and $350 for seniors (6 years and older) or Rottweiler mixes of any age (excluding puppies). Fees for puppies fluctuate depending on the investment required for the litter and whether they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary for our organization to continue rehoming Rottweilers in need. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for heartworms. Each dog comes with a collar and a leash. We also address any injuries or illnesses they had upon arrival or developed in foster care; any such conditions will be fully disclosed to the adopter prior to the adoption. Please Note: In almost all cases, we do not adopt to out-of-state applicants. On rare occasions, if we feel it is a PERFECT match for both you and the dog, we may make an exception for our neighbors in Las Vegas. If you live in Las Vegas and would like to be considered, please fill out our adoption application.
