About Grace

Grace is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. We do offer foster-to-adopt trials for approved adopters. Grace is a sweet girl whose eyes feel like the windows to her soul. She's smart, a little sassy, and very much her own woman. Grace marches to the beat of her own drum in the cutest way. She's done well living alongside multiple dogs, but she can be a bit selective and prefers to interact on her own terms. Because she's confident and independent, she may do best as the only dog or with a compatible male companion who is calm and easygoing. She does show some reactivity to small wildlife. Grace is also a dreamer. She loves relaxing on top of her crate and watching the world outside. She is house-trained, has settled into her routine very nicely, always looks forward to mealtime and treats, and has overall lovely manners. Grace would be a wonderful fit for a home that appreciates a dog with personality and independence. Grace is fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. She tested negative for heart worm. Her adoption donation is $500. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
