Hi, new friend! Gravy here.
I've got big ears, bigger dreams, and an even bigger heart for the kids who'll let me nap on their laps between zoomies.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Princeton.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Halloween — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Gravy

About Gravy
Gravy: The Adorable "Bat-Dog" Seeking an Energetic Home! Welcome to Ruff Start, Gravy! This sweet Pug Terrier mix is a dog with a ton of love and personality—and the cutest big ears, which one of our volunteers accurately described as belonging to a "bat that flies in the sky!" A Heart for Kids: Gravy adores children! She has clearly been loved by kids before and thrives on their affection. She's perfect for older, sturdy children who love to be toppled on and hugged, but she's too enthusiastic for tiny kids she might accidentally barrel into. High-Energy Play: Gravy has a ton of playful, intense energy that she needs help directing properly. She's looking for a dedicated owner who can channel that enthusiasm through training and plenty of outdoor activity! (Check out the darker photos—even after a walk, she's ready for more!) The Quiet Home Rule: Gravy is friendly but vocal, especially when settling down in her crate. She requires a single-family home (no shared walls) until she learns to calm herself more quickly. The Other Stuff: Gravy is great in the car, settles in her crate, and has shown minimal interest in cats, though her intense energy means her interactions should be supervised/tested carefully. She may initially show a little fear in new situations, but her play drive quickly takes over! Gravy is from a local impound. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
