Billy is a gentle, soulful dog who forms deep, meaningful bonds and wants nothing more than to be close to his people. After surviving months on the streets with a broken back, he has shown incredible resilience and has blossomed in foster care into a calm, quiet, and affectionate companion. He rarely barks, is fully housebroken, non-destructive, and loves relaxing on soft beds—especially the human one. Billy thrives on routine and peaceful environments, walks well on leash, and enjoys spending his days quietly nearby, coming over for cuddles whenever invited. He does experience some anxiety when left alone, so a home where someone is often present would help him feel safe. Billy is especially sweet with children, gentle with adults, and happiest when included in everyday life. He shines as the only pet and should not live with cats or small animals, though he may coexist with one very calm, submissive dog.
