Oh — hi! Rock here.
I'm quiet and thoughtful, preferring to follow you around at a gentle distance until I know you're my person—then maybe I'll sit close and let you discover I'm worth the wait.
My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.
I'm a San Antonio local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Rock

About Rock
Rock is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu weighing 25 pounds who needs to lose at least 20 pounds according to his veterinarian. This well-behaved boy was surrendered to a Texas shelter and is currently in a foster home with other dogs, where he is calm and independent—he likes to be near his people but quietly follows them around rather than demanding attention, and he rarely barks unless he wants something. Rock walks well on a leash, rides in cars without getting sick, and would make a good companion for the right home. His compatibility with cats is unknown.
