About Olive
I'm 40lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $500 Olive is a sweet, playful young girl with a soft, sensitive heart. She loves walks, sunshine in the yard, and cozy time close to her favorite people. Olive knows several basic commands, enjoys enrichment activities, and is housetrained. She is affectionate, goofy, and full of love once she feels comfortable. Olive can be unsure of new people at first, but with a little patience and time to earn her trust, she blossoms into an incredibly loving and loyal companion. Once Olive bonds with her people, she bonds deeply and can be protective of her family and home. Because of this, Olive would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with a family who understands her need for consistency and is willing to help her feel comfortable when meeting new people. Olive thrives in a calm, predictable environment where she feels safe, secure, and understood. She's a bright, tender dog with so much love to give and is looking for the right family who will appreciate her loyalty, respect her boundaries, and give her the peaceful forever home where she can truly shine. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
