Hi, new friend! Popcorn here.
Terrier energy: strong opinions, a real motor, and a heart three sizes too big.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Elmsford.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Popcorn

About Popcorn
Birthdate: 9/28/2024Breed: One of a kindWeight: 56.6 lbsWhen Popcorn spots a familiar face, he practically leaps into the air, bubbling with excitement just like a kettle ready to burst—his joy is truly contagious and impossible to ignore. He's a curious explorer, always pausing to study every new scent, sound, and sight that crosses his path. His gentle eyes seem to ask questions about the world, and he approaches each day with thoughtful wonder.Popcorn loves to soak in his surroundings—whether it's lounging in sunbeams or watching leaves swirl in the wind. With a heart full of awe for life's simple pleasures, he reminds everyone around him that joy can be found in every moment, if you just take time to look. The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you'll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
