Up late too? Hi. Lilly here.

I'm working on my aim with the potty pad, my outdoor confidence, and basically adulting in general, but I nail the commands and live for your praise like it's gourmet dog food.

My file says I've got energy to spare — adventure buddy applications now open.

I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.

I've been holding down the fort in Princeton, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Lilly

About Lilly

Lilly is a darling little sweetheart with a growing confidence and playful spirit! She's not quite sold on being outdoors yet, but she has conquered potty pad training — even if she's still working on perfecting her aim on the pad (she's trying, promise). As of this weekend, Lilly has blossomed into playtime and now loves toys and chasing balls. She already knows commands like "come" and "be patient," and she responds best to praise and encouragement over treats — she lives for kind words and love. Lilly is also improving beautifully with kennel training, only crying once last night before settling down for the night. She's finished her worm meds and is feeling much more comfortable and healthy now. Lilly is a sweet, sensitive pup who will shine in a patient, loving home ready to celebrate her progress. Lilly is from a local reservation. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start's adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.* If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
