Well, hello! Newt here.

I'll love everyone I meet, fetch anything that moves, and possibly try to eat a sock. Worth it.

My write-up says I'm great with kids — built-in best friend, basically.

I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.

I've been holding down the fort in Princeton, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Newt

About Newt

I just joined my foster family and we are still getting acquainted with one another. Once they learn more about me, they will add more information here! Newt is from a local reservation If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.* If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
