Hey, friend! Potion here.
I've mastered the art of the perfect nap, but I'm equally ready for adventures with my people—house trained, crate trained, and knowing all the commands that matter.
They say I'm clever. I say I'm just waiting for someone worth showing off for.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I'm a McKinney local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Potion

About Potion
My knee is healed, my bags are packed, and I'm ready for my next adventure… HOME! I'm Potion (59537774), a 1½-year-old Border Collie mix weighing 54 lbs. I've spent the last few months in a loving foster home recovering from knee surgery, and now I'm healthy, happy, and ready to begin the chapter I've been waiting for. I'm a very social girl who is house trained AND crate trained, loves playing with dogs my own size, and already knows SIT, DOWN, STAY and WAIT... with even more tricks in the works! I've worked hard to get here, and now there's just one thing left on my recovery plan: find a loving family and become somebody's best friend for life. If you would like to me, please send an email to foster@collincountytx.gov to schedule our meet and greet! Check out all the adoptable animals on the shelter's website! https://www.collincountytx.gov/Services/Animal-Services/adoptable-pets All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and first round of vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit me at Collin County Animal Services - 4750 Community Ave, McKinney TX. Shelter is open Tues-Fri 11-6, Sat-Sun 11-5
