Oh, hello you! Cookie here.
Built like a hot dog and fully prepared to burrow under your blanket and stay there.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.
I've been holding down the fort in Weston, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Cookie

About Cookie
Cookie is a sweet 7-year-old dachshund boy who weighs 18 pounds and is good with all people and other dogs. He arrived with paralysis in his hind legs, a severe bladder infection, and urine scald, all of which have been treated and resolved. Cookie will not regain the ability to walk, but he remains happy and mobile with his drag bags for moving around the house, a cart for walks, and a stroller for when he needs to be carried. He requires daily bladder expression, which his foster family can teach his new owners, and he does not do well in a crate.
