About ATHENA #10
Athena is a smart, affectionate Husky who has made remarkable progress since her rescue. Once fearful of men and new people, she has learned to relax and trust through patience and kindness, and now enjoys belly rubs, toys, brushing, baths, and car rides. She is fully housebroken, well-behaved in the home, eager to please, and knows basic commands, though she would benefit from continued work with a trainer, especially around new people and other animals. Athena can be reactive when people first enter her home or yard but settles quickly once she realizes they're not a threat; she would do best as the only pet in a calm home where she can build trust at her own pace.
