The rescue’s notes on Lucy
Lucy is a 40-lb female German Shorthaired Pointer mix who was found as a stray in December and has since been cared for in a foster home. She has a bright, joyful personality and loves being part of her people's daily activities, whether gardening, walking, or just hanging out. Lucy is crate-trained, friendly with children, other dogs, and horses, and gets along well in active homes; she is not yet leash-trained but is eager to learn. She is spayed, heartworm-negative, and fully up to date on vaccinations including DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, and CIV. Lucy does resource guard with food, so she should be fed separately from other dogs if in a multi-dog home.
