Oh — hi! Angel here.
I'm a nine-year-old pit bull who's spent my whole life being loved, and honestly, kennels are not the vibe—I'd like my couch back now, please.
My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.
I'm a seasoned soul, which is a fancy way of saying I've perfected the art of the afternoon nap and the grateful sigh.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Spring Lake.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Angel

About Angel
Meet Angel, a sweet senior girl in need of a new home. Angel is a 9 year old, 50ish pound pittie mix surrendered to us (along with her sister Princess) when their mom fell ill and could no longer care for them. They are not bonded and we are looking for separate home for them. Angel has lived her whole life in a loving home and is understandably confused by kennel life. Angel is very friendly, housebroken and well behaved in the home. She loves to lay in her bed and take leisurely walks. She has lots of love to give and would be a wonderful companion or family dog. Senior dogs like Angel deserve to spend their golden years curled up on a couch instead of a kennel floor. Her only request is to be the only dog in the home. Angel is microchipped, UTD on vaccines and will be spayed upon adoption. If you'd like to meet Angel, please fill out an adoption application on our website at Rescueridge.com. If your application is a possible match, a volunteer will reach out to you to schedule a meet. Angel is waiting for you in her kennel in Monmouth County, NJ
