I've weathered a few storms in my young years, but I'm ready for calm waters now—preferably with someone patient enough to understand my seizures and wise enough to appreciate a poodle's quiet companionship.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
I've been holding down the fort in Huntley, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Adoption Donation: $400 Jaxon is an adorable scruffy-faced boy with the kind of face you can't help but smile at—especially those eyebrows that are impossible not to love! This sweet pup has a gentle personality and is as sweet as can be. Jaxon also likes other dogs, making him a great companion for a home with a canine friend. With his charming looks and loving nature, Jaxon is ready to find a family who will adore him just as much as he'll adore them. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
