Rise and shine — hi! Pokey here.
Pocket-sized, but I run a tight ship — the ship is your lap.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.
Born and (almost) raised right here in York.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Pokey

About Pokey
Pokey is a 1 year old sweetheart who may be a little timid when you first meet him. Pokey was surrendered to us because his previous owners had more dogs than they could properly care for. He gets along well with other dogs, loves treats, and enjoys running and playing outside. Once he gets to know you he is the sweetest boy who just wants to be loved. Pokey is ready to find a forever family who will give him the love, attention and happiness he deserves. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy his happily ever after? Visit Richardsonrescue.org to submit an adoption application.
Pokey is listed by Richardson Rescue in York, SC. The rescue handles the adoption — Pawsada helps the right family discover Pokey.
