Lucky is a Parson Russell Terrier who has made remarkable progress in his six weeks in foster care. Once too fearful to let people approach him, he now knows his name, walks confidently beside his foster mom, ventures outside on his own, and seeks comfort from his person. Lucky is still decompressing and learning what home life looks like—he can be shy with new people and may bark or retreat—but he is a gentle, deeply loyal dog who will bond closely with the right person. He does best with patient adopters who understand that healing takes time and are ready to help him continue growing into his confident self.
