The rescue’s notes on Darcy

This darling little girl is DARCY, a bit over 1 years old and 8 pounds. She has pretty much reached her adult height and weight with maybe 1 pound to gain. She is mostly Maltese and will need to be groomed every 2-3 months to keep her straight hair from tangling. DARCY is my shadow but she does not get in my way, she just likes to go wherever I go. DARCY does go outside to play with a couple of Shih Tzu's and have fun. DARCY can be a bit of a diva and a bossy little girl to the other dogs. She just tries to keep them in order. But she plays well with the others and she loves to cuddle. She is about 75% potty trained. I do not have a doggy door and let her out to potty with the other dogs and she does just fine. She is completely crate and house trained. I have no problem leaving her alone in my home with my personal dogs while I am gone. She is not destructive or get into personal items. I do not have any cats so I do not know how she would get along with them. It took DARCY about 2 days to get to know me and show her real personality so some patience is required but then she becomes your shadow and best friend.
