About Sybil (OR)
Sybil is a 15-year-old Rat Terrier weighing approximately 14 pounds who spent nearly a decade in a loving home before returning to New Rattitude when her previous person became unable to care for her. Though her eyesight and hearing have declined with age, she retains a playful, silly personality and becomes especially animated at mealtimes. She gets along well with other dogs, is house-trained, and quiet, though she may occasionally leak when excited or startled; she sleeps through the night in a crate without accidents. Sybil does best in a single-story home with a securely fenced yard and ideally a doggie door, as she moves slowly on walks and becomes briefly disoriented upon waking; she enjoys following her people around, appreciates affection and soft handling, and prefers a comfy bed and regular treats to furniture or being picked up, and would thrive with someone home most of the day to keep her company.
