Hey, friend! Kiki here.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Kiki 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Kiki
Animal Information: Kiki is an estimated 9-month-old female staffy mix puppy currently weighing approximately 50lbs. She was found as a stray in Hawaii along with her littermates, Shohei and Dodger, who joined us earlier in 2026 and have been adopted. Foster Profile: Kiki is such a sweetie! She is a smart, well-mannered, and loving pup looking for a calm, committed home where she can blossom from her timid shell to bring joy to her new family. She is happy to hang out with you in the house sleeping, playing, or chewing her bones, but also loves playing with her dog friends, and running zoomies in the yard. Kiki can be a bit anxious and we are working on building up her confidence. It takes her a little time to warm up to new people, so introductions need to be slow and gentle. She does best when there is another confident dog around to show her that the world and people aren't so scary. Because of this, Kiki would be happiest with a confident, playful canine big sibling in her forever home. Once she is comfortable she's an affectionate, silly and playful girl. And those eyes! She has been friendly with all dogs but can be a bit 'much' for a less tolerant dog. She responds well to guidance from her humans during these interactions, enforcing appropriate play behavior and breaks. Kiki is eager to please and is food motivated. She barks an alarm at close-by sounds, but is fairly easily reassured that all is well. She hasn't barked in her kennel, only whined a bit before settling. She knows "sit" and "kennel," and is making progress with training. She can be fearful of cars and loud noises, which makes her nervous on leash out in the world beyond the yard, so she will need a patient handler to help her continue building her confidence and keep her safe. Kiki would do best in a home with another stable, confident dog to show her the ropes, and people who are dedicated to working with her on her confidence, socialization, and training. We will update her profile further as we continue to get to know this sweet girl. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
