" Courtesy Post" This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting a family with placing their pet. Meet Doppio ✨ (aka Max!) Doppio is a sweet and slightly goofy 10-month-old Chihuahua/Pit/Lab mix weighing around 30–40 lbs. He's crate trained, potty trained, and does great on a leash thanks to previous professional training. Doppio has a gentle, friendly nature and gets along beautifully with kids, other dogs, and even cats. He's a quiet pup overall—though he did recently discover his reflection and had a hilarious barking conversation with himself He came from a rescued mama named Tilly and was adopted as a puppy, but unfortunately the placement didn't work out. Now he's back in temporary care and hoping for a forever home that will stick. Doppio would do best in a home where he can have his own space to thrive and continue building confidence. He's loving, well-behaved, and just wants someone to call his own. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a touch of personality, Doppio is your guy. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions. Adoption fee is $250 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt. This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family.
